Studio FAQs

At Pointe & Flow, we want you to feel supported, respected, and clear about how everything works. Here are answers to the most common questions!

Q: How early can I arrive before my lesson?

A: You are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before your booked time to warm up. If  you need earlier access, please arrange in advance — extra studio time may be subject to a small hire fee.

Q: What should I wear for my class or session?

A: Please wear comfortable, fitted clothing that allows you to move freely. Bare feet, socks, or ballet shoes are recommended for most classes. Please remove jewellery or any sharp objects before participating in classes.

 

Q: Are there changing facilities at the studio?

A: Please arrive ready to move, as changing facilities are limited.

 

Q: What if I’m running late for a session?

A: Please text or call if you are delayed. We’ll always do our best to accommodate you, but sessions may need to finish on time to respect the next booking.

 

Q: Do you offer trial sessions?

A: We don’t offer free trials but feel free to book a one off class to see how much you like it!

 

Q: How can I pay for sessions or studio hire?

A: Payments can be made by the website or bank transfer with prior agreement. Payment details will be confirmed at the time of booking.

 

Q: Are packages or blocks of sessions available?

A: Yes — we offer discounted packages for clients booking multiple sessions. Please see website for details!

 

Q: What styles of classes do you offer?

A: At Pointe & Flow, we offer ballet technique, pointe work, Pilates, yoga, aerial yoga, flexibility training, private fitness sessions.

 

Q: How do I book a session or studio hire?

A: To book, please use the class booking system on the website or contact us via email or phone.

Q: Can I use the studio outside my lesson time?

A: Yes! Regular clients can hire the studio for personal practice or classes at £20/hour. Studio hire must be booked and confirmed in advance.

 

Q: What is your cancellation policy for private sessions?

A: We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule private lessons. Late cancellations may be charged at the full lesson rate.

 

Q: Can I bring my own teacher into the studio?

A: External teachers are welcome by prior agreement. Studio hire rates apply, and external classes must respect Pointe & Flow studio policies.
